• The reticent volcano keeps
• On my volcano grows the grass
• Volcanoes be in Sicily
• When Etna basks and purrs
• I have never seen "Volcanoes"
I also like her bat and mushroom poems:
• The bat is dun with wrinkled wings
• The mushroom is the elf of plants
And of course there are so many about worms and snakes.

Caterina-maybe you should think about finding a server that will delete spam for you. I think yahoo has a program. Emily is one of my least favorite poets: althought I love the bustle in the house the morning after death, and since I could not stop for death so death stopped for me. But, For the most part I say this, "She wrote poems only to amuse herself, and succeeded. (Sorry about the dreadful spelling and grammar, they don't teach in school anymore.)
My computer illiteracy exeeds even moral bancrupcy.Waiting for godot to fix it.

george | January 11, 2004 5:47 AMthe very thing i do not know
is punctuation in the show.
the fleas, the sords are there to stay
the hypolinks can go away
If I have to face the music ,I like to see the orchestra.
The cemetery is full of gravestones , but occasionally you meet a poet.
Once the cats and dogs are instilled, they become installed.
I think moron-t breaker was right by stating the obvious:you cant urinate on a sand which has been shifted(or shafted,or both).Thank you. anyway.
faux@Theoldfart | January 13, 2004 5:06 AMWhy do you always choose such bad pictures?
It made me laugh alot.
the letters sent to love of mine
have lost its freshness,nonetheless
it wasnt fothe lack of trying
which cawses me minor distress.
if they are bad,or worse still old
my lover will destroy them.then
when winter starts and sky is cold
the freshness will appear again.
Sowhat if it is hot?It can(and usually it does)get cold again so put back that frigginf orange (tosay the least or pink>shirt.
If you think i deserve such a big one why not give me 4l COCA COLA(they are on special now).but on the other hand,why,not/but ,,on the other hand......

Caterina,
Emily is one of my all time favorite poets. She also has alot of poems about gardens, like the one below:
***
New feet within my garden go,
New fingers stir the sod;
A troubadour upon the elm
Betrays the solitude.
New children play upon the green,
New weary sleep below;
And still the pensive spring returns,
And still the punctual snow!

By the way thanks for such a great site! I read it religiously! Don't let those spammers get the best of you!
Take care and read you soon!
Cheers from sometimes sunny Spain,
