Loveless !

No spiderland, no Abbey Road, nor Eusa Kills or Slanted and Enchanted.

I think I am also going for Loveless. I am going to see MBV in Manchester this summer. The only reunion I think that's going to be great I think. Or are my emotions masked by shear nostaligia

Agaetis Byrjun by Sigur Ros
Under the Pink
and an honorable mention to Elbow's Cast of Thousands.

All of the above chosen because they hang together thematically/musically as a true musical experience rather than just a collection of one or two good songs with lots of filler. Musically they must also stand the test of time. "Cast of Thousands" comes very close but falters near the end of the album.
